Description
Summary:Extramedullary plasmacytomas (EMP) constitute soft tissue masses containing aggregates of malignant plasma cells. Although rare, they have been shown to involve multiple abdominal organs and may imitate other malignancies.  Previous reports have shown that these can be difficult to distinguish from other primary malignancies, and may cause a delay in the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of these patients. In this case report, we describe a patient with EMP involving the pancreas and liver, initially presenting with the radiological picture of metastatic pancreas carcinoma.
