AGER COMPASCUUS DURING THE CRISIS OF THE ROMAN REPUBLIC

This article deals with the institute of ager compascuus (common pasture) and analyzes acts of the Roman State intended to preserve it from deformations that it underwent in the late 2nd century B.C. together with the entire system of communal land tenure.
