The analysis is based on the knowledge and analysis of the training activity, violence and corruption denounced by Juarez Journalists Association, founded and run by women journalists. A meeting with journalists of the association and in-depth interviews are the main methodological tools to understand the meaning and value of this group of juarenses journalists. In the same way this article analyzes, through a quantitative methodology, the strategy of activism and the international projection of the association through their social networks. In addition, research is completed with a content analysis about the prevalence and significance of the ‘red note’ in El Diario de Juárez, the main newspaper in this border area, which even has a delegation in the US city of El Paso.
