Description
Summary:The Observatory Organizational Reality was, without doubt, the main achievement of Milano Marcelo Falcão Vieira. He promotedthe strengthening of this group where researchers and students at different levels of training, could collectively produce knowledge, with innovative and audacious format and content within thearea of Administration. In this paper, the difficulties and thestrategies that have been used in order to achieve this dreamed dream are described. Among the mechanisms, Marcelo believed the most on thecollective research projects, in which researchers at different levels and with different methodological positions were groupedunder a problematic "umbrella". In this sense, it is worthwhile to notice that the contribution of Marcelo was not only to strengthena group of researchers, but to realize that social research - especially in the area of Organizational Studies - needs multiple perspectives and at the same time a rigorous and inter- connected vision of a collective of researchers, driven by common purpose, in order to overcome its epistemological limitations.
