Concepts of the handicapping conditions, attitudes towards the handicapped, and information programs which were used in changing these attitudes have been identified. The researcher reviewed previous studies which used information-involving concepts of individual differences, handicapped people and their characteristics, special education and its strategies, etc., in changing the concerned individual's attitudes toward the handicapped. This information was introduced to them through study courses, training programs, discussion, conferences, video tapes, free readings, and direct contact with the handicapped.
