Modern researches have successfully supported the pharmacological action of bael by discovering the presence of valuable bioactive compounds. Studies have revealed the anti-oxidant, anti-microbial nature of bael which aids in inhibiting gastrointestinal problems, different cardiac issues. Hepatoprotective, radioprotective, anti-diabetic, wound healing activities are also unveiled by bael.
