The present study examined the effect of using the transtheoretical model in students breakfast consumption. Methods: This semi-experimental study was performed on290 first level students of secondary school in Jiroft city. At the begining they have taken in two experimental and control groups by multi-stages and using a  structured  questionnaire  including  items  on  demographic  information,  stages  of  change,  self-efficacy, decisional balance, breakfast intake. Data were collected before and after three months.  Results: The  mean  age  of  students wase 13/74±387 and girls and boys ratio was equivalent. Interventional results show meaningful average increasing of balancing decision from 31to 46 and selfe-efficiency from 27to 34. Conclusion: The findings proved that TTM was a useful  model  that  can  be  applied  to  dietary  behavior  change such as breakfast consumption in students.http://journal.ihepsa.ir/article-1-572-en.htmlbreakfasttranstheoretical modestudents
