controllers. First, based on digital-redesigned state-feedback
controllers, one can translate the pulse-amplitude modulated
sampled-data controls into pulse-width modulated controls
extensively used in multivariable system. Nest, a newly
digitally redesigned approach is developed for the discrete-
time control of input time-delay systems. Finally, one can
utilize the new method to translate the pulse-amplitude
modulated discrete control into the pulse-width modulated
control. Using the pulse-width controller, the states of
controlled system closely match with those of the pulse-
amplitude modulatelly controlled system for a relatively
longer sampling period.
