There are manydifferent modulation and demodulation techniques which have beenconsidered for TDMA portable radio systems. In PACS, the Pi/4-DQPSKis used as the modulating scheme. For the demodulation, based on anintelligent algorithm proposed by Justin C. -I. Chuang and Nelson R.Sollenberger, we may implement a low complex ity hardware structurethat performs robust against frequency offset between transmitter andreceiver.
