Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 材料科學(工程)學系 === 84 === Abstract The Fe-Pt alloy films were prepared by D.C. planner magnetron sputtering method under a argon pressure of 50 mtorr. The distance of target to substrate was 4 cm. The microstructure and magnetic properties of Fe-Pt alloy films were studied. The effect of aging and dopping on the magneto-optical properties werealso examined. The range of Pt content in the films is 17.01-25.23at%. By increasing thesputtering power, the Pt content becomes gradually decreases. The microstruct- ure of as-deposited films is the microcrystalline gamma-(Fe,Pt) phase with FCC structure. When applied field is 14 kOe, the range of magnetization of 500-700 emu/c.c. are obtained. The coercive forces increase and the magnetiza- tion decrease with increasing Pt content. The Curie temperatures were measured in the range of 180 to 275 ℃. The maximum Kerr angle of 0.25 degree could be obtained for the sample of 21.96at% Pt. After aging, the crystalline structure of Fe3Pt phase was formed. According to the size and number of Fe3 Pt particles, the coercivities, remanent, Kerr angle and Curie temperature were changed. The addition of V, Nb makes the as-deposited films becomes amorphous moreeasily. Only adding small amount of V element can increase the magnetic proper-ties of films. More addition causes the reducing of magneto-optical properties.Additions would enhance coercive forces ,while the Curie temperature decreases slightly.
