Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程學系 === 84 === In order to shorten the designing time and simplify the designing process of an animation electronic book like Living Book style, the thesis proposed a composite way of OLE Control component(OCX). Three OLE Control Components, which are under VB 4.0 Application Development System, are composed and construct a 2D animation electronic book. The OLE Control Components of the system include Character Component, OSB Component and Effect Component. Character Component─Character, using the image picture as its appearance and changing the shape and the position as behavior, act as an animating role in a scene. OSB Component─There are two essential functions, one is to act as a static background in a scene that solve the problems of screen flicker and images redrawing on animation, the other is to display the appearance of characters in run time. Effect Component─The component is used for playback of audio and show of text in a scene. The following features can be customized by the animation designer: First is to change the image pictures and audio files of background and characters. Second is to specify the position, shape and amount of characters in a scene. Third is to decide the order and the amount of the scenes. Furthermore, the designer can edit the text in a scene. The viewer use the mouse to click the characters in the scenes for demonstration. The composite way of the three components is cast-based on a scene structure. In this thesis, we proved that the design of OLE Control components for constructing 2D animation electronic book is feasible.
