devices used inarchitecture design. They are horizontal,
vertical and egg-crated shading. Thesun-shading coefficient used
to be the important index to evaluate sun-shadingfacilities,but
it can''t efficiently evaluate the influence of solar radiation.
This research focus on the opening of buildings : The influence
caused bythe shading design form, shading coefficience , and
solar radiation resistantfactor. Study result will provide
convenient information and evaluationinstrument when consider
the energy-efficiency design. This study
includes the following content:
1. Daylight comes through the air-layer to the surface of the
earth.Radiationmust by reflect, emanate, diffuse and absorb by
the air, water and dust. It ishelpful for getting higher reality
and accurate for simulating. Because of thepromotion in
resource conservation and energy-efficient, there are
moreconvincible data to make the designer and users emphasize
the energy-efficientenvironmental design in architecture.
2. Because the architecture designer need understand and use
the researchresults of sun-shading efficiency analysis to make
decision or analysis duringthe design process. With the
assistance of computer technology today, a simplemethod and a
program system for analyzing -- will provide the designer''
sdemand. The result will assistant designer to realize the
efficiency of thesun-shading device for solar radiation
intense. 3. The analysis of the
shading efficiency of the shading device,often use therate of
shading to be the different kinds sun-shading form''s index. It
is asimple ratio between the rate of shading and the opening
area. It can''t beprecisely to understand how much solar
radiation had been blocked. To furtheranalysis the energy-cost,
this study tries to provide a reliable informationfor
calculation and reference.
A simulating program will be developed to provide systematic
graph and theefficiency of the horizontal shading design to
avoid solar radiation getting.This study expect to assistant
designers in their shading device design fordecision making
in design process.
