Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 醫務管理研究所 === 87 === The destination of this research is to explore the work stress and job satisfaction of the Nurse Anesthetists in Northern medical centers of Taiwan are taken into consideration. We have used the self-made questionnaire to do the research this time and have gathered altogether 216 inquiries that are valid. Data analysis includes descriptive and deductive statistical analysis, such as analysis of variance, the afterward examination of Scheffe, Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise regression etc. The outcome of the research indicates that: (1) the most Nurse Anesthetists are made of women. Most of their ages vary from 30 to 40 years old and have received college education. Some people even go to universities. Most of them are married and belongs to anesthesia department. The anesthesia training, which they receive, reaches up to 12 monthes. Most of the people in our hospital have already served for 1~5 years and 5~10 years. Most people have been engaged in anesthesia for 5~10 years and their work time amounts to 40~50 hours per week. (2). As to work stress, the greatest one is that they are exposed to the danger that they may be stung by the needle and get ill. Second is that they engaged themselves in anesthesia during the pregnancy. The third is that they may be exposed to the danger of the X-ray photography’s radiation. The things with which they are satisfied in their work time include as follows: getting along with colleagues in anesthesia department; they sympathize the Nurse Anesthetists with professional identification and get well with non-anesthesia department colleagues, too. They are also satisfied with all kind of equipments in their job, and with the honor that they are members of anesthesia department and they are assistants of those anesthesia doctors. The things with which they are not satisfied in their work are: the welfare of the employee; they work very hard, but the salary does not come up with their efforts; as the employees work overtime, they didn’t receive the deserved fees and welfare. When they take X-ray pictures, the protection measures for human beings are not enough; besides, the management of the organization can be improved, too. (3). In Individual Characteristics Variables, there is a huge difference between age, education, salary, service time, total service time in this hospital and work stress, job satisfaction. (4). There is a negative relation between work stress and job satisfaction. That is, the more work stress a employee undertake, the lower the job satisfaction is. According to the results of the research, we offer some suggestions.
