| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工程科學系 === 88 === With the progress of times, the 2D homepage on WWW is not sufficiency of information for users, so we need 3D homepage, such as VRML. But VRML2.0 doesn’t have the function for multi-user interaction, therefore it’s development is restricted. Therefore how to build a distributed multiuser virtual environments where a number of remote user can share is a new research topic.
Most research topics are discussed how to build a multiuser virtual environment system and the problems they incurred. Such as how to reduce the message , how to let an avatar in this world can see the other ghost avatars and talks to each other or doing collaborative work, but little consideration of building environment tools to develop networked multiuser virtual environment which let developing a networked multiuser virtual environment is as simple as writing a homepage. Therefore the purpose of this project is disscusing in how to build environment tools to develop networked muliuser virtual environment. And let more and more people will use it to develop.
JavaBean is a functionality of component-based software designing provided by Sun Microsystem Inc. to programmers. The main purpose of JavaBean is to achieve the concept of reusable within the concept of object oriented. I use this technology to develop all components we needed, and to assemble them as an environment builder for multiuser virtual worlds.
