Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 89 === The main purpose of this study is to (1) build an outdoor recreation geographic information for Taiwan scenic areas that is developed by Geographic Information System (GIS) and (2) to interpret the GIS database and interpolate the variables of recreation demand estimated recreation demand model. A case study is applied to develop GIS of outdoor recreation for the recreation areas administered in Taiwan. Data will be collected through a spatial and attribute format using the digitize techniques and map transfer into the geographic database, applying the gravity model to estimated the recreation areas demand, and building the multiple regression. Afterwards, a demand model is used to synthesize and present the outdoor recreation demand and forecast spatial properties. The rapid change of the social environments used by leisure concepts along with the increasing demand of travel spaces and visitors to scenic areas deserved more attention for the implementation of relevant polices of government on managing recreational areas in Taiwan. In addition to resources and characteristics of the scenic areas, the location and environment quality are also important to attract tourists to come to achieve their high quality of recreation experiences. Recently, the understanding of spatial patterns of scenic areas is considered as essential information in developing recreation system based on the above factors. The study results will made a good explanation in recreation resource management and further attempts to present the study findings and recommendation for administrative agencies in developing strategies in the management of recreation areas in Taiwan.
