Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 資源工程學系碩博士班 === 90 === There is abundant rainfall in Taiwan, but the distribution varies in space and time. The Pingtung Plain in the southern Taiwan has exited the problems of land subsidence and saline water intrusion, etc. The purpose of this study was to simulate the groundwater resources and to the description and prediction of the behavior of groundwater systems in the Pingtung Plain by the code MODFLOW, which is a modular three-dimensional finite-difference groundwater model of the U.S. Geological Survey. Furthermore, the suitable safe yield in the Pingtung Plain is estimated by proposed model in conjunction with geo-hydraulic parameters from 1996 to 2000. The Hill method was also performed to estimate the suitable safe yield by using a certain procedures. The suitable safe yield was used as a standard index to prevent from the subsidence which is induced from overdrawing groundwater.. The results showed that from 1996 to 2000, the average amount of precipitation recharge is the value of 8.99×108 m3 , the average amount of lateral recharge is the value of 5.8×108 m3 per year, and the average amount of safe yield is the value of 15.55×108m in Pingtung Plain. The amount of recharge effects the amount of suitable safe yield directly.
