Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 工業工程與工程管理學系 === 90 === The purpose of this paper is to discuss the integration of supply chain by using information sharing model and inventory coordination. The information sharing model reduces the bullwhip effect and the variance of supplier’s inventory by sharing retailer’s demand information. The numerical examples verify our analysis and illustrate the inventory reduction and cost saving. The value of demand information sharing can be quite high, especially when demands are significantly correlated over time. Inventory coordination model aims at redistributing inventory relation. So as to coordinate supplier’s and retailer’s replenishment inventory period can effectively decrease both of their inventory and cost. According to the numerical examples, we show out the cost through coordinating is lower than traditionally using economic order quantity (EOQ) model. Furthermore, we consider the information sharing model and attempt to combine these two models. First, we discuss actually demand / retailer’s order quantity as before / after information sharing. Then we combine these demand information into inventory coordination model. Based on combine the numerical results, we demonstrate that information sharing can be further reduced the supply chain cost.
