| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 設計研究所 === 90 === In human society, we can find that lovable form exists universally in different countries and areas. Lovable form exists not only for the needs of wide markets, it also attracts many people in different areas. In this study, the main goals are to study the reasons why people have the general recognitions of lovable form, and to understand more thoroughly the behavior of human being.
By studying the documents, it concludes that the recognitions of lovable form are based on the instinctive reactions. The lovable form has the following characteristics: fat build, plump cheek, large head and forehead, big eyes, short chin, and short extremities from literatures. In this study, it uses experimentation to prove the results recorded by the documents. The basic assumption is that the ratio of lovable form is varied according to the ratio of infants. The experimental stimulant is the ratio of a real monkey. The testers can repeat to adjust the stimulant’s length and width until they find the loveliest ratio of the form. The experimental results(on the basis of assumption that the width of head is 1) show that the characteristics of the form adjusted by the testers have the following similarities : longer head, smaller forehead, shorter extremities, fatter palms and thenars, thinner and shorter tail, such characteristics mentioned above are as same as the ratio of infants, and the experimental results meet the hypotheses of this study.
To analyze from the age and sex, the experimental results have the following phenomena：
1. In the point of age, the adjusted ratios(compared to the width of head) of width of body, length of body, width of upper arms, length of upper arms, width of forearms, length of forearms, width of palms, length of palms, width of thighs, length of thighs, width of shanks, length of shanks, width of thenars, length of thenars, width of tail and length of tail are varied outstandingly according to the age expect the ratio of length of head and width of palms.
2. In the point of sex, the entire size of the stimulant adjusted by the female is smaller than that adjusted by the male. Nevertheless, in the point of the lengthy ratio of head and body, the ratio of head adjusted by the female is larger than that adjusted by the male. Besides, the adjusted ratios of width of upper arms, length of upper arms, width of forearms, length of forearms, length of thighs, width of shanks, length of thenars, width of tail and length of tail are different according to the sex. As for the ratios of length of head, width of forearms, width of palms, width of thighs, length of shanks and width of thenars are not varied by the sex.
In conclusion, the reasons that cause the phenomena mentioned above are factored by age, sex, the background of testes, the image of stimulants and the attitudes of testes.
