(2) to explore the relationships between the team structural characteristics and team efficiency and the related intervening processes about popular cross-functional teams in the healthcare industry. The sample of this study consisted 20 hospitals. The questionnaires were used to survey and there were 109 valid and complete team samples (including 109 team leader samples and 471 team member samples). The results of this study are as follows:(1) The hypotheses of the intervening effects of team process on the relationships between team structural characteristics and task performance were partly supported. The hypotheses of the intervening effects of team process on the relationships among team structural characteristics, cooperation satisfaction, and meeting satisfaction were supported. (2) On the moderating effects of task interdependence, while the higher task interdependence, the stronger team norm, the higher task performance. In terms of task uncertainty, while lower task uncertainty, the stronger team norm, the higher task performance and meeting satisfaction. On the moderating effects of task analyzability, while lower task analyzability, the stronger team norm, the higher meeting satisfaction. The hypothesis of the moderating effects of task interdependence on the relationship between team cohesiveness and task performance was supported. The hypothesis of the moderating effects of task uncertainty on the relationship between team cohesiveness and meeting satisfaction was supported.
