This research was conducted in two ways: 1.Interviewed the principals, deans of studies, curriculum development committees and parents respectively to understand actual situations. 2.Made a questionnaire and conduct a survey on the teachers and parents of students in four counties and cities in central Taiwan. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way MANOVA, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé’s method and Pearson''''''''s product-moment correlation were utilized. The conclusions of major were as follows: 1.Educators of junior high schools had a fair level of cognition and attitude towards the Curriculum Development Committee. 2.Parents of students of junior high schools had a barely fair level of cognition and attitude towards the Curriculum Development Committee. 3.Significant differences of cognition and attitude towards the Curriculum Development Committee held by educators of junior high schools occurred in most aspects due to different backgrounds. 4.Cognition of parents of junior high school students towards the Curriculum Development Committee differed due to variant backgrounds; however, they held a similar attitude. 5.Cognition and attitude of junior high school educators towards the Curriculum Development Committee were significantly positive correlated. As for parents of students, most of the aspects were positive correlated apparently. Based on analysis of documents and conclusions of this study, suggestions and recommendations are presented to administrative organizations on education, principals of junior high schools, educators and parents of students respectively.
