Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防醫學院 === 海底醫學研究所 === 91 === Helicobacter pylori are one kind of micro-aerophilic and gram-negative bacteria. They mainly exist in human gastric mucous layer above mucosa membrane, and have close relationship with gastric and intestinal diseases. Cultivation of such bacteria requires critical conditions. Generally they can be cultured on blood agar plates under micro-aerophilic condition (80%N2,10%CO2,5%O2) with high moisture. White-gray colony with acerous shape can be observed after 3-5 days incubation. In this study, it was believed that Helicobacter pylori could be eradicated as the result of metabolism blocking, through increasing the environmental oxygen concentration followed with the increase of oxygen partial pressure in tissue. BABL/c SPF male mice with incubated Helicobacter pylori (ATCC43504 bacterial strain) in gastric tissues were treated with different oxygen partial pressure (0.2ATA,0.5ATA,1.0ATA, 2.5ATA) for two weeks, and EIA and gastric pathological microscopy were employed to examine the eradication of HP after different treatments. The results reveal that increase of environmental pressure of same gas component has no significant effect to the eradication of Helicobacter pylori. However, the increase of oxygen concentration and partial pressure can significantly increase the rate of eradication. We conclude that oxygen concentration is the most important and crucial factor for eradication of Helicobacter pylori.
