Participants were 171 fourth-grade elementary students (86 students with learning disabilities,85 normal students) . Written Language Ability Diagnostic Test for Children was used to measure each student’s productivity, syntax and level of abstraction. The major findings were summarized as follows: 1. The abilities of the productivity,syntax of normal students were at the middle level and the level of abstraction showed regular . 2. The abilities of the productivity、syntax and level of abstraction students with learning disabilities students were below average and need remedial instructions. 3. The general abilities of the students with learning disabilities were lower than normal students had . Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the differences of the composition in fourth-grade normal children and children with learning disabilities in Taipei metropolis. Participants were 171 fourth-grade elementary students (86 students with learning disabilities,85 normal students) . Written Language Ability Diagnostic Test for Children was used to measure each student’s productivity,
syntax and level of abstraction.
