In this study, six active ingredients of pesticide such as ametryne, benomyl, carbaryl, chlorothalonil, methomyl and pencycuron were used in the formulation research. Currently these six pesticides are used in large quantity as wettable powder in Taiwan and should be converted into safer formulation-water dispersible granule(WG). In this study, spray-dryer is the major mechine, to make water dispersible granule. Modifications were made in mechine parameters to obtain the best results. In addition, the concentrations of active ingredients were adjusted in the range of 20~60% and the selection of surfactants and binders were carried out according to their physical properties. The proper formulations were defined and the water dispersible granule were tested on durability. Modifications in formulation additives were carried out based on the above test results to obtain the best formulations. The products were tested on particle size, granule strength, dispersibility, suspensibility, disintegratability in water and storage stability. Except granule durability, all the water dispersible granule have good physical and chemical stabilities according to the regulations published by the Council of Agriculture in Taiwan. Benomyl active ingredient decomposes completely after storage test due to its rapid hydrolysis rate. Therefore, water dispersible granule with spray-dry method is not a good formulation for benomyl. Not dgradation of active ingredients to the other compound by the inlet temperature of spray dryer. And spray-dry method has been developed to elucidate the granulations of ametryne and methomyl. 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 應用化學系碩士班 === 92 === For several years, water dispersible granule are becoming an increasingly important pesticide systems.
