Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 應用物理研究所 === 92 === Practically, cheap, portable and highly stable optical standard is significant on the use of academic researches and industrial applications. A low-cost green primary length standard of 543 nm radiation is accomplished by the use of an iodine-stabilized He-Ne laser system. All the needed optics and electronics are integrated in one box which size is 35 cm length 30 cm wide 17 cm height. The instability of our length standard is up to 3 10-12 normalized to one Hz bandwidth, and the zero-crossing locking offset is below 1k Hz for one-week observation. In this dissertation, we also show our homemade electronics that is cheep but keep the main performance as using commercial electronics. We also recommend the transition wavelength of Iodine molecule R106 (28-0) b10 hyperfine line as the new candidate of length standard. And we show in this dissertation that our laser frequency can be stabilized to b10 line for more than ? hour with instability below 1.6 kHz. That is, our laser system could be one of the most stable 543 nm radiation over the world.
