This dissertation is aimed to find out all the possible problems that the teachers may encounter and study the strategy for solving it. Based on the method of action research, a study team is first organized to design the curriculum, investigate possible problems, and propose the way to solve it. Then experiments are carried out on three forth-grade classes of an elementary school in Pingtung County to evaluate the proposed strategy. It is firstly found that the problems for the teachers include: without fully understanding about the curriculum, lacking of the ability for designing the curriculum integration, lacking of teaching skills for such curriculum, being short of evaluation tools, and insufficient administration supports. To resolve it, a designed program for curriculum integration to these problems is proposed. Experimental validation shows that the proposed program for the curriculum integration can promote student’s interests to the curriculum, and thus their learning achievement is shown with satisfaction. Furthermore, we find that all these problems can be solved via the collaborative teaching activity. Finally, a procedure to solve the mentioned problems is proposed to be organized as: problem digging→ problem assuring→ team-worker organizing→ studying the strategy→ performing teaching experiment → performing teaching evaluation → holding teaching conference. This dissertation provides the researchers the specific methodology and strategy for teaching in “Arts and Humanity” curriculum. Abstract
