Summary:碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 92 === Abstract The study is to explore the relationship between emotional management and job satisfactions for the elementary school teachers, and to make conclusions and suggestions practically, hoping to offer some reference to institutions of teacher preparation, elementary school, teachers and future researchers. The research methods is questionnaire survey. First, to reaserch related literatures, and to study the meanings, aspects and the measurement of emotional management and job satisfactions, and then to study the relationship between the two. The questionnaire developed by the author, were administered to 962 school representatives, randomly selected from 80 elementary schools in Taipei city and county. The data obtained by questionnaire was analyzed by the statistic methods of descriptive statistic, one-way ANOVA, one-way MANOVA, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. Findings from the analyses are summarized as follows: 1. The emotional management ability of elementary school teachers were in good condition as a whole. The most ability is “emotional introspection”, and the lower one is “emotional adjustment”. 2. The main emotional disturbance of the elementary school teachers was from the troubles caused by students. The emotional adjustment strategies which more than 50% of elementary school teachers adopted are classified, “being close to nature”, “choosing television-viewing leisure”, “reading books and magazines”, getting away from the situation temporarily”, talking to friends”. 3. The present circumstances of the job satisfaction of elementary school teachers were above the average. The most satisfaction is “personal relationship”, and the least satisfaction is “incentive promotion”. 4. There does exist significant discrepancy among teacher’s gender, marriage condition, service year, duty and teaching grade on teachers’ emotion management. 5. There does exist significant discrepancy among teacher’s sex, marriage condition, academic degree, service year and duty on teacher’s job satisfaction. 6. There does exist significant discrepancy in school size and location on teacher’s job satisfaction. 7. The Significant difference existed among the competency of teachers’ emotional management on teacher’s job satisfaction of elementary school teachers. 8. The emotional management of elementary school teachers related to the job satisfaction, especially the emotional reflect was closed the teaching and the personal relationship.
