In the conditions of hillsides development and global warming that make climate change the landslide hazards have become more and more frequence.The increasing of landslide hazards risk has bring threats to the security of the schools that have hillside hazard potential and makes them survey they emergency management planning again and become more disaster resistant. To mitigation the risk of hillside disaster, the schools that have hillside hazard potential should integrate with the community to construct the sustainable school conditions by adopting the risk manage procedures. According to the experiences and documents the conditions of school security involve with four elements：(1) the building of school hazard mitigation and emergency response system；(2) the plan of school disaster resistant conditions；(3) the preparation of the equipment；(4) The construction of the hazard mitigation interactive network among schools and communities. By adopting the Analytic Hierarchy Process (A.H.P), the research can establish the evaluation chart for assessing the security conditions of school that have hillside hazard potential. According to the hillside school security evaluation chart, the research further precedes questionnaire surveys to the elementary and junior high schools in Taipei. Multivariate statistical analyses were employed to analyze the data. By the empirical study, the level of hillside hazard potential will influence the score of hillside school security evaluation chart. Schools that location in the higher hillside hazard potential area gets the higher security evaluation score. According to the results of factor and cluster analysis, the pattern of schools security plan separate into four patterns：(1) hazard mitigation and emergency response system；(2) the planning of school security conditions；(3) establish the system of security administration and the maintenance of equipment among schools and communities；(4) Disaster resistant ability and the construction of security preserving system. Empirical study exhibit establishing the system of security administration and the maintenance of equipment among schools and communities is the primary security planning pattern and schools with this planning pattern get the higher security evaluation score.
