There is no previous empirical study on the relationship between MNE management of different cultures (for example, American or Japanese cultures) and performance. Therefore, the research objective is to explore the relationship be-tween management and performance, and further discuss the moderating effect of cul-tural difference. The directory of top 5000 businesses in Taiwan was the basis for the sampling frame. We sent out 400 questionnaires and conducted interviews with executives of randomly selected foreign subsidiaries in manufacturing industries. 248 questionnaires were received. After eliminating 35 responses with missing data, the sample for analysis consists of 213 questionnaires, a rate of 53.25%. The result shows that the organization structure of MNE has positive relationship with performance. Formalization and specialization have positive relationships with sales growth, trade growth and profits. Centralization has positive relationship with sales growth. Leadership style has positive relationship with performance. Sympathetic leadership has positive relationship with sales growth and profits. Structural leadership has positive relationship with profits. We further discuss the test results and recommend for the managerial practice and future research.
