Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 光電技術研究所 === 92 === According to the research of SSFLC, the transmittance and voltage switching behavior demonstrates thresholdless is so-called “V-shape”. The phenomenon of V-shape is usually observed just in an inversion frequency, and accompanied by a inversed electro-optical hystersis direction. In fact, under the inversion frequency, the curve of voltage and transmittance equals the function of the voltage on the liquid crystal layer. Equivalent circuit on the liquid crystal layer and polyimide layer causes a dynamic impedance and forms a voltage divider. The inversion frequency strongly depends on liquid crystal layer and equivalent capacitance of polyimide layer. The V-shape switching always happens on the condition of low frequency under room temperature. It is extremely inconvenience in application. In this study, we employ external resistance and capacitance, to enhance the achievement of frequency and reduce the affect of hysteresis to fulfil ideal V-shape condition. The aim of the study is to achieve a applied SSFLC cell.
