Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 92 === Design and implementation of permanent magnet brushless motor driver are proposed in this thesis. The focus is on the DC brushless fan domain and it’s driver. This driver not only provides smart functions, but also has a very long life time due to the redundant function of circuitry modules. The cooler’s life is very important in the system, because when the cooler shuts down, the system life time will be decreased. With analog IC (UCC2843), a modulated pulse width is produced in the DC/DC converter and a well designed PI controller gives the accurate output voltage. Thermistor provides a signal to the Micro Chip ICs (PIC16C508A and PIC16F818) and then it is fed back to the converter’s output after calculation. This signal from IC will be coupled with the regulated signal from converter’s output to get a suitable voltage to control the fan speed. The thesis discusses above-mentioned each part and all the theoretical analyses are confirmed by the experiments to achieve the accurate output voltage and good current characteristic.
