Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 金融研究所 === 93 === The growing path of small and medium enterprises is a microform of Taiwan experience. The ability of prompt reaction which makes entrepreneurs of these companies from rags to riches has played a significant role during the development of economy in Taiwan. High interest spread in small business banking has induced banks to swarm into small business banking services; However, banks have also suffer higher default risk from the asymmetric information and unrealizable financial reports of small and medium enterprises. For a long time, banks have relied on the past experience and subjective judgment of credit producers and reviewers to rule on loan decisions without standardized and evaluating criteria. The objectives of this thesis are as follows. 1. Develop a unique small business credit rating model via analysis of factors which may cause small business to default from financial and non-financial materials. 2. Standardize the loan evaluating process with statistic methods to reduce the default risks which currently caused by subjective decision making process. 3. Develop a pricing model according to the levels of credit risks.
