Summary:碩士 === 高雄醫學大學 === 護理學研究所碩士班 === 93 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among demographic data, climacteric symptoms, and perimenopaual attitude in urban aborignal women. The instruments of this study included the Greene Climacteric Symptom Scale, and the Perimenopause Attitude questionnaires. Purposive sampling was used for data collection. One hundred and etighty-seven particpants were recruited for this study (the responding rate was 69.8%). The mean age of menopause in urban aborignal women was 48.8 years (SD 3.5 years); and the urban aborignal women have the similar menopausal symptoms like muscle and joint pain, feeling tired or lacking of energy, and headaches with the other Taiwanese women. By chi-square analysis, the significant related factors of climacteric symptoms were women who didn’t have work, during perimenopausal period, and with chronic physical disease. Significant related factors of climacteric symptoms, which were analyzed by multiple logistic regression, revealed that during perimenopausal period, and with chronic physical disease. The women’s climacteric symptoms were significantly negative associated with menopausal attitude. The results of this study will help us to know more about urban aboriginal women’s climacteric symptoms, and their perimenopausal attitude. We may apply these findings to develop interventions for promoting aboriginal women’s health.
