The research samples are chosen from four junior high school students in Kaohsiung county, including 12 classes, 432 students. The research is done by self-made “Biological Evolution Problem Finding Test” for problem finding along with other testing tools, including The Inventory of Personal Traits to The Development of Technological Creativity, Thinking Styles Appraisal, and so on. From the gathered data by above mentioned tools, this research first categorizes the content, times and types of how the subject finding the problems. Then evaluates the performance of the problem finding ability of students by different criteria. The employed analysis methods were Descriptive Statistics, One-Way Analysis of Variance, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, Canonical correlation , and Multiple Stepwise Regression, we may figure out and understand the level of junior high school students’ problem finding ability. The findings of this study revealed that: (a) The convergent biological problem part: Students with different level of the creative personal traits and thinking styles did perform differently on the behavior of convergent biological-problem finding ability. ' the total amount form ' in The Inventory of Personal Traits and the tools' subscale ' like reading, interest to be extensive ' had significant related to convergent biological-problem finding ability. The type of ' scope ' and' learning' in Thinking Styles Appraisal had significant related to convergent biological-problem finding ability. (b) The divergent biological problem part: Students with different level of the creative personal traits and thinking styles did perform differently on the behavior of divergent biological-problem finding ability. ' the total amount form ' in The Inventory of Personal Traits and the tools' subscales ' Imagine strength abundant, multiple thinking ', ' good at right with share , optimistic and positive', ' like reading, interest to be extensive ', etc had significant related to divergent biological-problem finding ability. The type of ' function ' and ' scope ' in Thinking Styles Appraisal had significant related to divergent biological-problem finding ability. (c)In discussion of the relative weightings: As for the result of Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis, we fine that The Inventory of Personal Traits' subscale ' like reading, interest to be extensive ' is relatively important contribution in students' convergent biological-problem finding ability. The Inventory of Personal Traits' subscale ' like reading, interest to be extensive ' and the type of ' scope ' in Thinking Styles Appraisal is relatively important contribution in students' divergent biological-problem finding ability. Finally, some suggestions were proposed for educational authorities, schools, teachers, and future studies. 洪振方 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |

碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 科學教育研究所 === 93 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of relative weightings between creative personality, thinking styles, and biological evolution problem finding ability among seventh graders.
The findings of this study revealed that:
(a) The convergent biological problem part:
Students with different level of the creative personal traits and thinking styles did perform differently on the behavior of convergent biological-problem finding ability.
(b) The divergent biological problem part:
Students with different level of the creative personal traits and thinking styles did perform differently on the behavior of divergent biological-problem finding ability.
(c)In discussion of the relative weightings:
As for the result of Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis, we fine that The Inventory of Personal Traits' subscale ' like reading, interest to be extensive ' is relatively important contribution in students' convergent biological-problem finding ability.
