Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of teachers’ participation in administrative decision-making and organizational commitment in Taipei elementary schools, to observe the discrepancy caused by individual variables and environmental variables, and to discuss the correlation between the former two. The survey questionnaire developed in this research were utilized to acquire needed data for the study. They were distributed to 760 subjects, who were randomly selected from 45 municipal elementary schools in Taipei city .After sampling, 614 efficient copies of the questionnaires were received , effective rate: 81%. The data were analyzed and presented by describe statistic , t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. Based on the survey questionnaire, the conclusions are as follows: 1.The degree of teachers’ participation in administrative decision-making is above average. Teachers’ participation in the decision-making of teaching-related affairs is comparatively high, but their participation in administrative decision-making is comparatively low. 2.Teachers’ attituational commitment and exchange commitment to organizations are highly above average. 3.Teachers’ age, years in service, education degree and the job they are assigned are significant variables in teachers’ participation in administrative decision-making. 4.The scale of school is a significant variable in teachers’ participation in administrative decision-making. 5.Teachers’ age, years in service, and the job they are assigned are significant variables in teachers’ organizational commitment. 6.The scale of school is a significant variable in teachers’ organizational commitment. 7.The more teachers participate in administrative decision, the more positive attitude and the higher conditional organizational commitment they give. Basing on the results of this study . I’d hereby make some suggestions, as a reference , to our educational organizations , schools , teachers, and future research.
