Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 環境與安全工程系碩士班 === 93 === Modern people exceed 80% of time stayed indoors, and mostly use the machinery type air conditioner to control the temperature and humidity. Once air change rate is insufficient result in pollutant accumulated, it will cause indoor air quality deterioration. A large amount of formaldehyde (HCHO) emitted from indoor decoration panel, furniture, industrial and commercial articles. High concentration of formaldehyde will influence people health. The objective of this study is to develop zeolite to absorb the indoor formaldehyde, as an economy, effective and feasible technology. The main research content included self-made zeolite, characteristic analyses, and to perform isotherm experiment and chamber simulation. Zeolites characteristic were analyzes by BET Surface Area, X-ray Diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) were used to measure surface area after adsorption experiments receive the best operation parameter. Langmuir isotherm is best to description self-made zeolite adsorption formaldehyde. Use high-temperature desorption zeolite to get high rate of reuse (Secondly aqueous vapor desorption > air desorption > oxygen desorption). There are has 75% reuse rate, after 10 time adsorption experiments. The simulation chamber experiment use zeolite rotor-wheel to remove formaldehyde in the indoor environment. After experiments the CADR is 5.28 L/hr, 4.8 L/hr, 4.68 L/hr and 3.12 L/hr, when the concentrations of formaldehyde in chamber are 400 ppm, 280 ppm, 150 ppm and 40 ppm. At the same time the zeolite rotor-wheel can remove the formaldehyde in chamber very effectively at 120 min. Finally we know use of zeolite rotor-wheel to clean air as a simple, economic, convenient method.
