By using the microscope, the surface profilometer, and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), the effect of electrochemical etching, deposition and the composition of the marks were analyzed with the Taguchi method and design of experiments (DOE) methodology. The solution made by the optimized formula showed superior results than the commercial available solution on the market.
