The aluminium acetylacetonate(AACA)and Boehmite(or silica)are employed to form an irregular nano surface structure as a base coat material. They are first dissolved in ethanol with different weight ratios of AACA and Boehmite, coated on the surface of Teflon and finally heat treated at 240-260℃. The purpose of heat treatment is to remove the AACA part of the film to form a nano size voids of 30-100 nm (nano layer). The size of nano voids are varied with heat treatment temperature and time. After that, the nano layer is then coated with heptadecafluorodecyltrimethoxy silane monomer with water for hydroxylation and then condensated at 140℃ , 1 h to form polycondensation layer(super water repellent layer). The results of super-repellant property and its stability of the film will be analyzed. Besides, the surface observation and qualitative analysis of the nano film and the overall film such as FT-IR, SEM, X-ray, mechanical and thermal properties will also be investigated. H.H.
