Application of reading instruction of “readers theatre” in learning areas ofMandarin.
Through Action Research with participation of 24 sixth graders in Shang Tian School,
it is expected to understand the influence of Mandarin reading ability during the
application of reading instruction of “readers theatre” in learning areas of Mandarin .
There are three months be taught by reading instruction in the second semester of
2004 academic year through the form of “readers theatre”, including four topics
(eight units). The practical instruction were modified after the discussion with the
researcher’s advisor ,critical friends, and the participant teacher(school open
house).Conclusion in the perspectives of curriculum design, teaching and learning
and suggestion for further research are provided.
