Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 93 === This thesis is mainly composed of two topics. The first is the fundamental of the mixer theory and double-balanced mixer design, implementation, and measurement. The second is that theory of VCO and the chips of LC Tank VCO and Wide Band VCO are designed, achieved and measured. Two chips are fabricated by TSMC 0.18 CMOS 1P6M and TSMC 0.35 CMOS 2P4M processes, we use Spectre RF and ADS to simulate circuits. In our future work, we want to integrate the concepts of the oscillator and mixer, use the signal of VCO in the LO end of the mixer, enable it to operate it in 2.4 GHz or application of high frequency.
