Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 行政管理學研究所(含博、碩專班) === 94 === In the information age, the developing Information and Communication technologies (ICTs) have been utilized to improve public administrative efficiency and governmental service quality. Due to this development, people can receive public services conveniently and efficiently. In order to fulfill this goal, most governments in the world have constructed very powerful e-service framework. However, according to this thesis, many Taiwan local governments still can’t provide a useful online service. Through a Taipei City’s case analysis, the main purposes of this thesis are to find the characters for a successful and satisfactory e-service system, and propose e-service policy suggestions to governments. The research methods of this thesis include website content analysis, secondary data analysis, and online survey. Through these methods, this research analyzed the associations and casual-effect relations between Taipei E-service Online system and variables including the users’ characteristics, attitudes, and opinions. The research findings show that most users are satisfied with Taipei E-service Online system. However some functions, such as search function, ease of navigation, data accuracy, and webstie aesthetics, should be improved.
