碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 應用語言文學研究所 === 94 === Tien-Yi Chao is the evergreen in the field of children poetry in Taiwan. The study is based on Chao’s children’s poetry, no matter on external or internal performances, exploring its artistic characteristics. Also through his works, I try to expand the research that if the society and the readers influenced Chao’s children’s poetry at that period of time. This study also trys to pinpoint objectively Chao’s effort and accomplishments in the development of Children’s literature in Taiwan. This thesis is divided into seven chapters, the goal and content of each are as follows: Chapter One: Introduction. First of all, it gives an introduction to the motive and purpose of this thesis, and investigates the historical archives for an understanding of the studies that have made so far regarding Chao’s works. Next, it recounts the texts that the thesis involves, methodology, and range of the thesis. The possible limitations are explicated in this chapter as well. Chapter Two: Tien-Yi Chao and Children’s Poetry. This chapter discusses Chao’s texts about: The Development of Children’s Poetry in Taiwan, The Construction of Tien-Yi Chao’s Personality. This thesis trys to make a clear represent ation and the contrast between the shifts of the poet’s life and the pulsation of the era. Chapter Three: Tien-Yi Chao’s Perspective of production of Children’s Poetry. In this chapter, I try to discuss Chao’s perspective and idea about children’s poetry, his originate conception of children’s poetry, for the purpose of offering a close look at Chao’s Children’s poetry world. Chapter Four: The Themes of Tien-Yi Chao’s Children’s Poetry. This Chapter analyzes Chao’s texts of children’s poetry in the deep level, then generalizes the works thematic types. Try to discover the deep content is Chao’s texts and the connotation buried in them, Chapter Five: The Linguistic Art of Tien-Yi Chao’s Children Poetry. This chapter divides Chao’s children poetry into three linguistic Characteristics: easily but precisely read language, ideologic language, musical language. Find out Chao’s children poetry artistical profoundness. Chapter Six: The structure Research of Tien-Yi Chao’s Children Poetry. This chapter discusses Chao’s works structure forms, then generalizes it structure types and characteristics. Chapter Seven: Conclusion. This chapter concludes the artistic characteristics of the form and content of Tien-Yi Chao’s Children poems. It intends objectively to find a place in Taiwan children poetry for Chao, considering his efforts and accomplishment he has made.
