In order to fit design demands, for the most parts, contractors excavate a little more overbreak. By means of expanding excavation, either increases the quantity of excavation or increase the payment for replacement concrete. Our research is based on the Microsoft Visual Basic and the Microsoft Access to develop the tunnel profiling window program. The major feature is: modular programming which can calculate the area of profile in module setting up newly. By comparing measured profile and desired profile to find out whether overbreak or underbreak. We take three cases to operate and show the result. The result of research is shown that we can not only profiling but also calculate the area of profile. According to the value of the difference of measured profile and desired profile, we can find out the payment for replacement concrete immediately. Make use of such result to improve the quality of tunnel construction, and it make contractors reach the goal which is measured profile being able to consist with desired profile economically and fast.
