The bogie is the major interface facility between EMU and track. The riding quality, safety, stability depend on the design of bogie. The prevention of yielding, buckling, and displacement is very important in bogie design. The strength of bogie structure must be enough to support the vehicle’s body. In the meanwhile, the prevention of vibration resonance is important. The natural frequency and vibration mode of the bogie must be analyzed. The bogie’s model was constructed by using the graphic software, Solid Works. And then the ANSYS software was employed to calculate the structural stress, natural frequency, and mode shape. It was found that the maximum equivalent stress obtained from the finite element analysis is much smaller than the allowable stress of bogie frame. The present deployment of EMU bogie is ensured to be free from resonance. Keywords : Electric Multiple Units, Bogie, Vibration, Finite Element Chwan-Huei Tsai 蔡傳暉 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 125 zh-TW
