For promoting business, the corporate usually participate the trade exhibition as a strategy to sell products/services and the brand image. The exhibition industry has been emphasized mostly by the corporate. And this research focuses on the design creativity, design planning, creative management and other issues. This research was conducted based on literature review, case study, and expertise interview. The result includes:1. The design planning will influence the success of creativity, 2. The main interruption is communication, 3. Creativity evaluation should be started before design detail are developed, 4. Design requests can be checked with creativity evaluation at the same time, and 5. Formulating exhibition design evaluation factors, such as budget, customer’s needs, design style, corporate image, form, practicality, path, cost, materials, manufacturing, color, recycling, rent facility, etc. Moreover, this research provides a design creativity evaluation model for the exhibition design. This evaluation model can be applied during the stage of design planning for providing objective and holistic considerations to the design ideas, which can be useful to the exhibition industry and exhibition designers according to the research.
