Reading instruction is the core of the integrated learning in the language class. The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of the reading instruction with Chinese model essays and action research in teacher’s teaching programs. The summaries of the five chapters in this study are as the following: 1. Chapter Ⅰ: introduce the analysis of research background and motive, research purpose and question, research range, method, research present situation. 2. Chapter Ⅱ:the discussion on previous studies of reading model essays 、reading ability and teaching methods were included. 3. Chapter Ⅲ:the research and course design. 4. Chapter Ⅳ:the discussion about reading instructions and recording the interactions between the students and the teachers during the teaching programs. Finally, anazlyt the records. 5.Chapter Ⅴ:the conclusion and future development of the study. The conclusions of this study were derived as the reading model essays con be helpful for the students’s oral expression 、word expression、peer interaction and self-learning.
