Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 設計研究所在職進修碩士班 === 95 === Abstract The framework of this thesis is based on two major themes: “Most modernism” and “Contemporary Taiwanese social couture”. The content describes the directions of the study. One is the analysis from post modernism perspective; the other is to generate the pattern and style of creation after discovering and discussing the practice of post-modernism from a variety of angles, such as graphics, architecture, literature, music, painting, movie, visual design etc. In this study, the meaning and theory of post-modernism is discussed and analyzed. Then the comparisons among the concepts and the styles of pos-modernism culture are followed. In addition, this study discusses the relationship between contemporary Taiwanese culture and social environments. Finally, the study portraits the post-modernism localization: the characters of local cultures in current Taiwanese society. The relevant thinking, reflections, and theories behind the design process have been recorded and described, including the content and formation of the design. The post modern culture is used as the framework of design process, which also using contemporary post modern social culture and social environment as the content of creation and the application of the virtual visual design. Besides the description of the design, the study also provides several conclusions and recommendations for the future research as well as the contribution to the diverse development of the field of visual design.
