Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 95 === This study used qualitative research methods to investigate the implementation of picture books teaching with self-acceptance for the topic for first-graders in elementary school. The study focuses on the students’ learning experience along with the teacher’s professional development. Addition to that, the purpose of this study is to develop and design appropriate picture books teaching program to promote self-acceptance of the first-graders in elementary school. The adoptive data source includes the feedback sheets, the interview records, the behavior observation records, the children’s worksheets, the teaching diary, the teachers' reflective thinking notes etc. The data are analyzed using "qualitative research method". The research finds picture books teaching as a result to promote self-acceptance of the first graders have the feasibility. The teacher can make use of the picture books teaching to promote students’ self-acceptance. The researcher made progress in the process, and developed a set of picture books teaching program to promote students’ self-acceptance. Finally, on the basis of the outcomes and findings of this study, the researcher made conclusions and provided some suggestions. This study also provided useful reference for those who are interested in picture books teaching to promote children’s self-acceptance.
