This study focuses on the restaurant employees in Taipei. Questionnaire survey was the method for this research. 500 questionnaires were released and 375 valid questionnaires were returned from the employees. The effective rate was 74.7%. Statistics methods that were used to analyze the data of the questionnaires were t-test, one way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results are as follows: 1. The job satisfaction of employees is moderate and they have turnover intention but not immediately. Once they have appropriate job, they have a thought to quit. 2. For job satisfaction, there is no difference between male and female employees. 3. Age has negative effect on satisfaction of promotion. 4. Service year has positive effect on satisfaction of job itself、colleague、promotion and supervisor. 5. Unmarried employee is higher satisfaction level than married employee on job itself、supervisor and colleague. 6. Full-time employee is higher satisfaction level than part-time employee on job itself and supervisor. 7. Everyone's background as sex、age、marital status、service year and education is not significantly relevant to turnover intention. 8. Job satisfaction of restaurant employee has negative effect on turnover intention. Ming-Che,Chou 周明智 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 106 zh-TW
