Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to (1)investigate the content and current status of principals' transformational leadership and teachers' professional development, (2)explore teachers' perceptive differences on these two areas, (3)analyze the relationship between principals' transformational leadership and teachers' professional development, and (4)explore the predictive power of principals' transformational leadership and teachers' professional development.
The major results were summarized as follows:
1.The entire and sub-directions degree of principals' transformational leadership and teachers' professional development are moderately high.
2.The background variables of teachers, such as post, show the significant difference in the senior high school principals' transformational leadership. And , serving years, educational background, principals' gender and principals' seniority, show significant difference in some subparts of principals' transformational leadership.
3.The background variables of teachers, such as marital status, show the significant difference in the senior high school teachers' professional development. And, principals' gender and teachers' serving years, show the significant difference in some subparts of teachers' professional development.
4.There were positive correlations between every subpart of principals' transformational leadership and that of teachers' professional development.
5.Principals' transformational leadership has prediction to teachers' professional development.
