As many enterprises have invested quite a lot of funds to accumulate human capital of employees, so does the life insurance industry. Due to the diverse development of the environment and the interaction process among different persons, the emphases on human nature and relationship have been replaced by profession, effectiveness and performance. Thus, the generating of a team is very important since the work doing by oneself cannot meet the requirement of the current situations. The first priority of life insurance industry ought to be the good use of human capital to achieve the occupational capability of team and its staff to effectively enhance the job performance so as to achieve the target goal of the company. This study attempts to investigate the factors that have influences on the team performance of life insurance from the perspective of human capital. A study of the relationship between human capital and the implement of team performance has been conducted. Personality traits of the team is used as a moderator between human capital and team performance. This research aims to explore the relationships between human capital and team performance. The independent variable is human capital while the dependent variable is team performance. We further regard the team personality traits as a moderator between human capital and team performance to understand the relationship and correlations among various variables. The data of the study were collected through the questionnaire survey, distributed to all the salespersons and managers at 35 agency organizations in Kaohsiung-Pingtung Area of a life insurance company. For the data analysis, the influence of human capital upon team performance is verified by reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Our results show that: (1) There is a positive correlation between human capital and team performance owned by the sales department (agency organization) of life insurance industry, (2) Team personality traits have both incomplete positive and incomplete negative moderating effects between human capital and team performance.
